About Us
Hiking Heroes is a student-driven organization dedicated to protecting and appreciating the natural world through hiking, environmental service, and community action. We aim to keep local trails and parks clean, promote awareness of environmental issues, and inspire others to respect and care for nature. Through exploration. teamwork, and hands-on conservation efforts, we build a community of young leaders committed to making a lasting positive impact on the outdoors we all share.
Trail Stewardship
On our scheduled cleanup hikes, we carry gloves, sturdy trash bags, and pickers to help clean the trails and parks. We focus on removing everything from discarded plastic bottles and wrappers to micro-litter that can harm local ecosystems. By clearing trails of this debris, we create a safe and healthy environment for the for local wildlife, and help ensure the future stability of the ecosystem .
Our Goal
We are determined to protect the environment and combat climate change by encouraging active stewardship, organizing cleanup activities, and raising awareness of environmental issues.

Location and Partnership Opportunities
We are based in Dallas, Texas. However, oftentimes, we extend our conservation efforts outside of Dallas and seek opportunities outside the city. We are currently looking for collaboration possibilities. For further information, contact 214-972-4995.
